Puente Nova helps companies move cross-border work from intent to execution. We work primarily across the Americas, with selected reach into other markets. The plan is usually clear; the hard part is making it happen in a market that isn't yours. We help close that gap — qualifying the right counterparts, reading local realities, coordinating the work on the ground, and carrying it through to decision or execution.
Built on a track record of turning complex, multi-country strategy into working operations — across technology, finance, and institutions.
Helping companies enter or expand into markets they don't fully know — clarifying the practical path, coordinating local work, managing partners and vendors, and keeping execution moving.
Finding, qualifying, and managing the relationships that make cross-border work possible — customers and suppliers, distributors and operators, institutions and commercial partners, and the local representatives on the ground.
Supporting the trade mechanics — sourcing, supplier qualification, distribution, and import and export readiness — plus commercial diligence, deal follow-through, and first-transaction execution.
Cross-border work moves on many fronts at once — counterparties, partners, and vendors; documents and approvals; meetings, local follow-up, risks, and timelines. As we manage it, you get a clear view of where the engagement stands: what's progressing, what we're handling, and what needs a decision from you.
No scattered email chains and no guessing. One shared view of the work, updated as the engagement progresses.
When the work calls for it, Puente Nova can stay involved beyond the first engagement — taking on an ongoing operating role rather than handing things back once the plan is set.
That can mean acting as your local execution partner or market-entry operator, your commercial representative or sourcing and partnership manager, or your operating partner and ongoing coordinator in a given market — often without the cost and delay of setting up a foreign entity.
Puente Nova draws on years of hands-on execution across technology, finance, and international institutions — market development, regional operations, partnerships, and the delivery of large initiatives in unfamiliar markets.
The firm is led by Dr. Max Bunmi Banjo, an organizational psychologist and systems builder who has spent her career making large, complex programs work in practice. Her work includes building Google's digital-skills training across 27 countries, leading cross-border operations and transformation for major financial institutions, founding Kuvora as an execution partner for global clients, and advising UNESCO on AI principles.
We work with founders and operating companies, importers and exporters, distributors and manufacturers, brands, family offices, investors, and institutions. We're most useful once there's real commercial intent behind the work — a tangible asset, a buyer, a supplier, a partner, a market to enter, or an execution problem to move forward. If that's where you are, we'd be glad to hear from you.
